Conference on CAM, Spirituality, & Healthcare

Be the Change USA is sponsoring a conference right in my own backyard, at Rice University, on May 1-3, 2007.  The program and presenters are listed on the website.

According to the website:

Be The Change USA in Healthcare 2007 is a three-day conference that brings together world-renowned innovate thinkers and role models for conversations on consciously co-creating a future healthcare system that will match the genius of modern technology with the perennial wisdom of ancient and modern healing traditions.

Most importantly, the conference aims to inspire, support, and motivate each of us to “become the change” in our own professions, organizations, countries and regions.

The conference’s mission is to:

Provide an overview of the current state of global and US Healthcare – from the perspective of both its state of crisis and opportunity

Explore models of healthcare based on traditional and integrally informed models of health and healing

Showcase national and local change agents as models for sustainable and compassionate healthcare.

Inspire, motivate and educate communities and broad-based networks on the opportunity to become positive change agents.
